Step Into Sovereignty

I have never been great at being mindful in the moment due to high emotions and anxiety. Marian's mindfulness lessons were a great reminder on how to feel those emotions and work through them. I will definitely be taking what I learned and practice them and share it with others.​

This was a great experience overall and the techniques helped me to relax and ground myself in various ways. When I was feeling anxious I was able to use the guided tree meditation and the box breathing to calm myself down. Exercising and focusing on breathing always makes me feel better physically and mentally. I often have a hard time focusing on positive things, so creating a gratitude list lifted a bit of the weight off my mind. Everything I did during this ten day grounding challenge was helpful and made me feel good.​

When I met with Marian, I was feeling hopeless. Life seemed to be throwing me too many curveballs and I was as feeling exhausted and defeated. She listened with empathy and helped me to remember my power, guiding me with practices and tools to reclaim my healthy mindset and my sovereignty. She speaks from lived experience, offering wisdom, compassion, and skillful feedback. I enjoyed my self empowerment session with Marian. It was inspiring to hear about her success story. It helped me reframe and rethink my fears of employment (which are due to many past poor work experiences and my disabilities). Some of the topics Marian talked about that stood out to me were self-forgiveness, focusing on what you can control, pausing and reframing situations, and being careful of how you talk to yourself. The session emphasized the importance of having a positive mindset. I would recommend her sessions.

A confidant - Marian is someone who can stand with you in the deepest of trenches, and still demand that you stand up take inventory and make moves. A spotter - someone who is adept at seeing patterns and showing you how to make those patterns stick or what moves to make that will break that pattern. A second shooter - she will be that cheerleader, but she is also the one in the foxhole saying pass the mag when the enemy goes hard. The commander - she is the one that will help you understand what you need to do become the commander of your own life not simply rely on her guidance and leadership. Ultimately you need to learn to lead yourself. Marian is my right hand for these reasons.

Working with my Marian for the past month has been an amazing transformative , and effective experience for me . We had a call once a week, and each session helped me stay focused, motivated, and accountable. She helped me create a personalized routine based on the goals I wanted to achieve, including healthy habit stacking, daily meditation, and building better daily habits that fit my lifestyle. One of the things I appreciated most was that she truly listened to what I wanted to work on and tailored our sessions to my needs. She also gave me thoughtful, compassionate advice on some difficult family issues I was struggling with, which helped me gain clarity and c onfidence during a challenging time. Throughout the month, she kept me enthusiastic about the process and encouraged me every step of the way.
